Groix et Nature are the only remaining seafood preservers on the island of Groix of the Southern coast of Brittany. It has inherited the traditional, authentic Breton methods and quest for taste. The seafood is caught by fishing boats of the North Eastern coasts of the Atlantic.
The delicate, rich and creamy fibres of the rillettes reveal flavours of scallops cooked in butter with shallots and parsley. The recipe has been handed down by generations of women who have worked at the island’s preservers since 1860.
Scallops (45,5%), single cream, shallots, pollock, butter, water, wheat flour, carrots, salt, parsley, garlic, pepper.
Traces of crustaceans, celery, mustard.
